How Long Has It Been Since UCF Last Lost a Game?

UCF, last year's self-proclaimed College Football National Champions, are at it again this year as they head into a New Year's Day Bowl Game against SEC powerhouse LSU. The Knights are once again undefeated at 12-0 which got me thinking: Who's the last team that actually beat them?

It's less exciting than you'd think. UCF's 25 game winning streak started on the heels of an Automation Cure Bowl Loss to Arkansas... State... That's right, the Arkansas State Red Wolves of the Sun Belt Conference took it to the Knights back in 2016 by a score of 31-13. Bet you didn't know that Arkansas State's mascot was the Red Wolf, did you? UCF finished the 2016 campaign with a record of just 6-7, a far cry from the back-to-back double digit win seasons they've run off these past two years.

Fun fact, nobody from Arkansas State was drafted into the NFL in 2017 or 2018.
